Measure and record the length and width of the glass surface. Cut the film along the grid and add 1+ inch on every side when doing this so you have excess film to trim away. lean the glass surface and the frame. Peel the backing film off. Generously spray the water on the static side of the film. Lightly mist the glass. Place the film on the wet window. Use a plastic card to squeegee the water and air out under the film. Use the plastic card to work the film into the edges as tightly as possible. Trim excess material away with a sharp razor, leaving a 1/16” wide gap around the four perimeter edges of the film.
